WHOOAAHHH.

Yikes. Sorry blog buddies, I've been neglecting the blog again.

I always hate when I do this because then I don't know where to start-- do I just do a quick picture dump? Do I fill you in on my here and now, or do I try to back track.

I'd hate for you guys to miss a beat, so we're going to do a little bit of everything. I'll try to back track with a quick picture dump and tomorrow...tomorrow will be the real  deal. The here and now, which I'm sure is far more exciting than what I had for breakfast 3 weeks ago.

Let's just say since my last post...life has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Definitely been neglecting my daily routine, including the gym. I'm all sorts of scatter brained these days and trying to figure out a new way of living has been challenging...so bear with me, this post might also be kind of weird and all over the place.

Highlights of the last 3 months:

  • Started school at PIMA Medical Institute. I get to wear these super cool scrubs and wear a backpack all at the same time. It's awesome. I love school.

  • Mr. Thompson turned 25. I pretended to be a domesticated housewife for a few minutes and whipped up some box cupcakes, got some party decor I knew the Hubs would like and threw together a little last minute BBQ. I know, I think I'm a pretty good wife too.

Seriously though... if you've ever tried my cupcakes, you know I don't belong in a kitchen.

Oh, and he was incredibly spoiled. He got a gym membership, and all the works to go with it. What can I say, I'm an excellent gift giver. I think somebody should give me their credit card and let me go to town this October. I'd do a great job picking out my own birthday presents ;)

  • WE MOVED! Not so much a highlight to me, but it had to be done. It was a really hard decision. I LOVED our house. I loved Covington. I loved my gym. I loved the people I met there. I felt like I was finally home. But alas, sometimes things just don't work out the way we want them to.
So I said goodbye to our awesome home, and all of our space and independence and packed the cars full and back to Renton we went. You never realize how much crap you have until you move from a 3 bedroom home (with garage aka storage and yard full of toys) to a basement with no closets. Oh hello storage unit!

Bye Covington!

Hi Renton :(

We've been making the small space work, thanks to IKEA ;)

We're trying to make the best of it though and the boys are having tons of fun living with their cousins.

That's it. That's where the highlight reel stops.

Just kidding.
The fun never ends.
Stay tuned for MY next chapter.
